Professor Yan Bing’s independently-written academic monograph "Photofunctional Rare Earth Hybrid Materials" was published in Springer Press. The book systematically summarizes the research progress in the field of light functional rare earth hybrid materials, focusing on the research results of Professor Yan Bing's research group in the past 15 years. The publication of the book has forward-looking role in promoting the field of further research and development.

The monograph book bears a total of 261 pages, divided into four parts and eight chapters. The first chapter introduces rare earth, rare earth luminescence, light rare earth compounds and light functional rare earth hybrid materials. The second and sixth chapters focus on the systematic introduction of the typical research on rare earth hybrid materials, including organic modified silicon-based rare earth hybrid materials, organic modified mesoporous silicon-based light functional rare earth hybrid materials, functional microporous Zeolite Light Functional Rare Earth Hybrid Materials, Functionalized Metal Organic Frame Light Functional Rare Earth Hybrid Materials, Polymers and Polymers - Silicon Composite Light Functional Rare Earth Hybrid Materials. Chapter 7 summarizes the multiple primitive assembly of light-functional rare-earth hybrid materials. Chapter 8 focuses on the photophysical application of rare earth hybrid materials. The monograph cited 400 articles, of which more than 200 articles (more than half) are from Yan Bing professor ‘s research group.
